Our solutions don’t just work for nature — they work like nature. By mimicking the intelligence of ecosystems, we create systems that regenerate, adapt, and endure. Respecting the locals — human and more-than-human — means designing with, not against, the environment. This approach fosters balance, giving all life forms a fair, equitable chance to thrive in the future we’re building together.
A biologist and project manager with a multidisciplinary background in ecological design, education, and environmental systems. Her work bridges scientific inquiry with creative problem-solving to support regenerative futures.
Transdisciplinary artist, trained ecologist, community builder, and curator ⬇
A transdisciplinary artist, trained ecologist, community builder, and curator, Julia Flux works at the intersections of movement, sculpture, community and ecology. Through somatic inquiry, critical thinking with an focus on more-than-human entanglements, her practice explores speculative futures and deep ecological connections, creating immersive experiences that weave body, land, and unseen forces like solar fluxes and electromagnetic fields.
Visual artist who merges mythology, sensation, and social-ecological ⬇
Hamish Logan is a visual artist who merges mythology, sensation, and social-ecological inquiry to create immersive experiences that blur reality, memory, and imagination. Exploring liminal spaces and third landscapes, he weaves film, photography, and sculptural soundscapes into speculative narratives that dissolve the boundaries between myth and science.
Designer focusing on bio-based material innovation through circular waste systems. ⬇
I believe achieving environmental harmony should be our greatest societal focus. Improving how we live with – and within – the systems we build, and the materials we use to build them.
For the past decade my focus has increasingly shifted to reuse and sustainability. I aim to challenge our conventions of consumption, disposal, and waste. To work with communities in ways that promote greater involvement and interaction, and strengthen the relationship between audience and object. Commune with the world we’ve built – and the one we’re leaving behind. By implementing design processes that lessens the impact on the environment, the narrative of the material comes to life, and invites this type of contemplation.
Nothing exists without its imperfections. Nothing is made to last forever. By embracing these truths, we can change our perspective on the creation and appreciation of objects that colour our built world, and build towards an alternate future.
